Kanda is a female owned and run construction company specializing in bathroom, kitchen, whole home remodels, and additions on homes built prior to 1950.
One of the advantages of having a female general contractor is my deep passion towards creating functional spaces for families. I know what a kitchen means to a home. I know how many meals will be made, how much laughter will echo, how many tears will be shed, how many late nights playing games, the homework that will done on the counters, and so much more. I know it’s not just a kitchen.
Kanda is built on the basis of clear is kind conversations. I believe in transparency!! My customers are given access to all receipts for their project with bi-monthly meetings to go over details. I run a robust project management sheet that gives my customers access to their project, the scope of work, daily logs for in-house labor, logs for subcontractors, links to invoices, current project spend, remaining budget, and approvals for selections.
I want my customers to love their contractor and their home at the end of the project. I believe this is accomplished through clarity, managing expectations, and giving a hands on approach to project management. It is my job to share with my customers what they don’t know they don’t know when it comes to construction.
I’m willing to travel to small outskirt towns for remodeling old homes!! I love small towns and working with the subcontractors in them. I’m willing to travel for the “right” home/project. Reach out to see if I’m the contractor for your project!
